Perspective

Perspective

The image above was painted by a friend of mine from a photo I found on one of those “Images Captured At The Right Moment” sites.

The partial dictionary definition of “perspective” is…

1 the technique or process of representing on a plane or curved surface the spatial relation of objects as they might appear to the eye;

2 the interrelation in which a subject or its parts are mentally viewed b : the capacity to view things in their true relations or relative importance

3 a mental view or prospect

All the components are real…the ballerina, the window, curtains, table and tulip…they physically exist within the context of the event. It’s what we don’t see that has the ability to place everything in the proper perspective…the vase, the table the vase is sitting on, the skirt of the ballerina.

2 (NIV) Corinthians 4:18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Psalms 139:2-6(AMP) You know my downsitting and my uprising; You understand my thought afar off. You sift and search out my path and my lying down, and You are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue [still unuttered], but, behold, O Lord, You know it altogether. You have beset me and shut me in—behind and before, and You have laid Your hand upon me. Your [infinite] knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high above me, I cannot reach it.

Daniel 2:22(AMP) He reveals the deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with Him!

Remember….We see things through our finite eyes. God sees things in his infinite wisdom.

In Him,
Gypsy
