Wow! The power of lightning!

I was in Florida during the 2004 Hurricane Season. We were hit hard, first by Hurricane Charley then followed by Frances, Ivan and Jeanne. It was a busy storm season. The lightening from Charley hit transformer after transformer and the winds devastated the infrastructure so severely we were without power for more than a week…in Florida…hot…humid…buggy…Florida.

Out of habit…I’d walk into a room and hit the light switch. Of course, nothing happened. Without power, traffic slows to a crawl, communication shuts down, and the city goes dark.

2 Chronicles 20:6(MSG) “O God, God of our ancestors, are you not God in heaven above and ruler of all kingdoms below? You hold all power and might in your fist—no one stands a chance against you!

Matthew 22:29(AMP) But Jesus replied to them, You are wrong because you know neither the Scriptures nor God’s power.

Ephesians 3:20AMP) Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]

Remember…God’s power never weakens, never grows dim and never has an outage.
